Seattle Dog

Grilled or split hot dog served on a bun with cream cheese, grilled onions, and often jalapeños or Sriracha, a Seattle, Washington specialty.

Born from Seattle’s late-night cart scene in the 1990s, this dog pairs a split, griddled sausage with a toasted bun slathered in cream cheese. Street vendors add grilled onions and often jalapeños, with a finish of mustard or sriracha. It’s a stadium and bar-district staple.
